Zazie O. Beetz was born in Berlin on November 21 1991. Born in Berlin, Germany. Her mother is an Social Worker of South Africa-American descent from New York. Jennifer Aniston attended the same high-school as Beetz. Beetz was a student at Skidmore College to study French following her graduation from LaGuardia. After graduation, she began auditioning for roles. college and landed the part in the role of Van in Atlanta. Beetz is a native of Berlin of two parents: a German father, and an African American mother. She was raised both and in New York. Participating in community theaters and local stages from childhood, Zazie found her joy when she was in the middle school years and began growing into acting. Zazie's Disney Channel Breakout Role Zendaya's dance abilities definitely earned her acclaim. In 2010 the actress and dancer got her first break-out performance when she was cast in the role of Rocky Blue in the show "Shake It Up" along with co-star Bella Thorne. Zendaya turned vegetarian at the age of 11, after passing a killinghouse together with her dad when they were on the road. PEOPLE claims that Zendaya stated, "I found it horrifying seeing every animal being put in there, waiting for their time to die." "I couldn't have believed that was how I had been obtaining my meat!" She has since stayed on a vegetarian diet.
